Planning Risk
We assess the level of planning risk in terms of principle or detailed structure, and whether changes can be made to improve the risk position.
Solutions
We explore constraints to development and suggest how these might be overcome. We can identify sites with immediate or longer term potential. We advise clients on strategies for securing planning permission or new policy allocations. We identify the key issues affecting land value and returns.
Consultation
We undertake pre-application consultation, seek guidance and engage with planning officers, key local authority committees and stakeholders. We use this process to assist with negotiating planning permissions.
Negotiations
We identify key areas of conflict and attempt to steer a path through to achieving planning permission. We are also familiar with Section 106 and 278 Agreements, Tariffs and measures for assessing levels of affordable housing.
Project Management and Co-ordination
We identify and co-ordinate other consultants such as highway consultants, architects, engineers and legal teams.
